Tornado Watches, Warnings Issued Across Parts Of NJ Several parts of New Jersey were under tornado watches and warnings, as per the National Weather Service on Saturday, April 1. Rare Philadelphia Tornado Watch Put Eagles' NFL Home Game In Spotlight A rare tornado watch is in effect for Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, Chester and Delaware counties, the National Weather Service said on Monday afternoon. The tornado watch extends until 7 p.m. or about an hour before Monday night's NFL game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Seattle Seahawks at Lincoln Financial Field. Tornado Watch In Effect For Parts Of South, Central Jersey A tornado watch is in effect for parts of New Jersey, the National Weather Service said on Monday afternoon. The watch, which includes hail, flooding and high wind warnings, extends until 7 p.m., according to the NWS out of Mount Holly and Philadelphia. There also were numerous reports of widespread electricity outages due to the high winds and downed power lines.
