Franklinville's Anthony Tartaglia, 48, Survived By High School Sweetheart Anthony Tartaglia, of Franklinville, died peacefully on Friday, March 15, with his family by his side, according to an obituary published by Farnelli Funeral Home. He was 48 years old. Originally from Philadelphia, Anthony grew up in South Philadelphia. After graduation, he joined the Navy and was stationed in San Diego, his obituary said. "Having married his high school sweetheart, he and his wife lived in San Diego, Glassboro, Woodbury, and Franklinville before settling there to raise their family," his obituary said. He was married to his wife, the former Noel Powers, for 28 years.…

Alexander “AJ” Keating, 24, who has been living in South Amboy, was on a ninth-floor balcony at around 12:45 a.m. when he fell over a railing at the Hyatt Regency Long Island, Suffolk County police said. Staff Sgt. Vincent Marketta, 33, of Brick, and Sgt. Tyler Shelton, 22, of San Bernardino, CA, were killed when their Black Hawk helicopter crashed in a training exercise off the coast of San Diego, according to the U.S. Army.
