Newly-released forecast maps show parts of the region could see up to six inches of snow in the end-of-week storm. New Law Requires NJ Drivers To Move Over For Disabled Vehicles
Gov. Phil Murphy has expanded New Jersey's "move over" law to protect drivers of broken-down vehicles on the side of Garden State roads. The new requirement says drivers must safely move into another lane when approaching a disabled vehicle using flashing hazard lights, road flares, or reflective triangles. Gov. Murphy signed the bill into law on Tuesday, Jan. 16. If oncoming drivers can't safely move into another lane, they must slow down below the speed limit and be prepared to stop. Investigators are still working to name the woman hit and killed on the Trenton Morrisville Toll Bridge Thursday morning, Jan. 11, state police say. Hamilton Man, 23, Killed In Rollover Crash In Princeton
A 23-year-old man from Hamilton was killed when his car struck a boulder and rolled over in Princeton, authorities said. The driver who was killed in the one-car crash was identified as Matt Leon. The crash occurred at 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 4 on Mercer Road near Quaker Road, Princeton police said. Leon was traveling south when he entered the shoulder of the road and struck the boulder and overturned, police said.
