Camden School Board Member Who Threatened Woman With Gun Resigns: Complaint A former Camden County police detective resigned from the city's school board after he was accused of threatening a woman with an unregistered gun, according to the criminal complaint. Clayton Gonzalez, 34, was arrested on Nov. 28, 2023, after he threatened the woman and her family on Nov. 20 saying he'd ruin their lives and her boyfriend's life, said the affidavit of probable cause obtained by Daily Voice. State Report On 'Widespread' Prison Abuse Triggers NJ Corrections Commissioner's Resignation A scathing report on alleged problems within the New Jersey prison system prompted Tuesday's resignation of the state Corrections Commissioner, officials said.  Gov. Phil Murphy, at a press briefing, said he was very disturbed by the report, which focused on assaults by prison guards at Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women in Union Township, Hunderdon County.
