'Fun Uncle, Best Bud:' Driver Killed In NJ Crash Mourned By Loved Ones
Funeral arrangements have been finalized for Rob Lafferty III, the victim of a weekend crash in Gloucester County. Lafferty's Kia Optima veered off the 3500 block of West Malaga Road into the oncoming lane of traffic before hitting a landscaping stone, several mailboxes and a tree before coming to rest in Franklin Township Saturday night, March 2, local police said. Lafferty was hospitalized where he was pronounced dead while his 41-year-old male passenger suffered a possible broken wrist, police said. Ashley De'An Marvin, 38, Of Maple Shade 'Seen And Heard' At Sons' Sports Events
Ashley De'An Marvin, a mother of two from Maple Shade, died on Jan. 8 at Jefferson Hospital in Cherry Hill, according to an obituary published by Mathis Funeral Home. She was 38 years old. "Ashley was a proud mom, and could always be seen and heard on the sidelines of any sports her two sons were involved in," her obituary said. Ashley lived in Shamong for most of her life. A 25-year-old Pennsylvania man and PSU grad was found dead in his Los Angeles County, California apartment, authorities say. Elias 'Eli' Crone was found dead of asphyxia caused by hanging at 9:09 a.m. on Monday, July 31, 2023, according to the LA County Coroner's officer. Eli was born in Wrightsville on June 8, 1998, authorities say. He studied at Lancaster Catholic High School where he played baseball and football, which he previously shared on social media.
