Driver Rescued From Marsh After Fleeing Atlantic City Expressway Crash: State Police A Westchester County, NY, man was arrested after he allegedly fled a crash on the Atlantic City Expressway, authorities said. Jerome Reed, 34, of Peekskill, was rescued about five hours after the crash from a nearby marsh and charged with eluding, New Jersey State Police said. Troopers were called to the single-vehicle crash at 1:08 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, Sgt. Philip Curry, a State Police spokesman, said. It happened in Northern Westchester at the New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt. At about 7 a.m. Friday, April 10, state police say they received a report of criminal mischief.
