Tornado Warning Issued In Parts Of NJ The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a tornado warning in parts of Mercer, Monmouth and Middlesex counties. At 3:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 22, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Edinburg, or 7 miles east of Trenton, moving east at 45 mph, the NWS said. Locations impacted include Hightstown, Cranbury, Roosevelt, Mercerville-Hamilton Square, Edinburg, Windsor, Twin Rivers, Clearbrook Park, Princeton Junction and Concordia.  People in those areas were advised to seek cover.

Motorist Killed In Mercer County Crash Authorities are investigating a crash in which one person was killed in Mercer County. At about 5:40 p.m. on Sunday, East Windsor police were called on a report of a collision near Route 133 and 1 Mile Road. Firefighters from East Windsor and Hightstown responded along with members of the East Windsor First Aid & Rescue Squad and Capital Health Paramedics. UPDATE: A 60-year-old man found floating dead in a Mercer County lake may have been a registered sex offender in the area.  Local police identified the body as Dana "Mike" Fields, of Highstown, but did not say if it was the same Dana M. Fields, a registered sex offender in the area. Sgt. Benjamin Miller, a Hightstown Police Department spokesman, said he could not confirm or deny if it was the same person.
