Atlantic City Trio Arrested On Drug, Weapons Charges: Police
Three men were arrested after Atlantic City detectives observed them engaged in a drug deal, authorities said.
On Thursday Aug. 17, at 3:48 p.m., Detectives Eric Evans and Christopher Dodson were conducting surveillance in the area of the 1600 block of Atlantic Avenues.
They saw two men, Daryus Gandy and Bashon Simon Sr., working together to sell drugs, police said. The detectives approached the men as they began to engage in a transaction with John Adams. South Jersey Woman, 48, Charged With Setting Row Home Fire: Police
A 48-year-old woman from Pleasantville has been charged with setting a massive fire in Atlantic City, authorities said.
The three-alarm blaze displaced multiple residents, they said.
On Wednesday, June 21, at 1:01 p.m., police officers, firefighters, and medical personnel responded to a structure fire in the 1500 block of Belfield Avenue.
The structure is a series of row homes that contain multiple units.
The building was occupied at the time of the fire, and as many as 10 residents were rescued by first responders, police said.
