Clifton Stabbing Victim Says Intruder Attacked Him CLIFTON, N.J. — A 43-year-old victim told police that an intruder stabbed him overnight Sunday.The Cutler Street man said he emerged from his bedroom to find the intruder, who stabbed him in the abdomen around 1:30 a.m. Sunday and fled, Detective Sgt. Robert Bracken said Monday. The victim remained hospitalized in stable condition as of Monday morning, the detective sergeant said. He described the assailant only as an Hispanic man. One Confirmed Dead In Oradell Morning House Fire Saturday ORADELL, N.J. -- One person was confirmed dead in a Saturday morning house fire on Fletcher Avenue in Oradell, police said. The victim's identity has not been revealed but Capt. William Wicker confirmed he or she was a resident of the home.
