Clifton Man Accused In Double Stabbing Surrenders
CLIFTON, N.J. — A Clifton man turned himself in to police after being accused in a Jan. 3 double stabbing, Detective Sgt. Robert Bracken said on Wednesday.
Darin Barone, 18, turned himself in Tuesday afternoon, Bracken said. He was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and weapons possession after two men were stabbed in the arms during a dispute, Bracken said.
Barone was held at Passaic County Jail on $35,000 bail, the detective sergeant said.
His mother, Diane, was previously arrested for misleading police and failing to cooperate when authorities were looking for her son.
