In March 2004, Margaret "Peggy" McGeary, a Hoboken woman who was working as a sign-maker, was on foot when she was hit by an SUV. Incredibly, the then-64-year-old suffered no broken bones and was able to leave the hospital that day (although she would spend several months in physical therapy).
