Support is skyrocketing for a North Jersey family after the death of beloved husband, longtime teacher and father Robert Ambrosino from a sudden brain aneurysm.
Ambrosino, a longtime Dover High School teacher, coach and musician, collapsed from a sudden and unexpected brain aneurysm and was taken to Newton Medical Center on Sept. 26, according to a GoFundMe launched by Alexis, who says she is Ambrosino’s niece.
After being put on a ventilator, Ambrosino, of Sparta, underwent further testing and was later airlifted to Overlook Medical Center in Summit.

Police: DUI Morris County Woman, 26, Swerves Off Road, Slams Into Tree
A Morris County woman was under the influence when she swerved off the road and slammed into a tree over the weekend, authorities said.
Rebecca Dwyer, 26, was driving south on High Street near the Summit Avenue Pond in Newton around 2:45 a.m. Saturday when her 2006 Honda Civic swerved off the road and hit a tree, which deployed the vehicle’s airbag, police said.
Dwyer was transported via Atlantic Ambulance to Newton Medical Center, where she was treated for arm and hand injuries, police said.

Child Protection Agency Notified After Sparta Man Stomps On Teenage Girl's Ankle, Report Says
The New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency and Sussex County Prosecutor's Office were notified after a Sparta man threw a 14-year-old girl in his care to the ground and stomped on her ankle, causing swelling and bruising, a recent report says.
Logan Kylish, 36, was arrested Saturday, two days after the incident, and charged via a complaint warrant with child endangerment, abandonment, cruelty/child neglect and served a disorderly persons offense, the NJHerald reports.
