Alcazar, 26, was arrested on murder charges after her daughter was found with stab wounds on Friday, Dec. 3, the Salem County Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release. Police responded to an open 911 call with audible disturbance in the background. Dion M. Johnson is facing charges of first-degree murder and a pair of second-degree weapons offenses in connection with the death of Darrell Q. McKoy, Union County Prosecutor Lyndsay V. Ruotolo said tuesday. Arrest Made In July Shooting Of Newark Man, 22 An arrest has been made in last July's shooting of 22-year-old Tyree R. Quinones. Al-Muqtadir Padgett, 32, a city resident, shot Quinones near 115 Sunset Ave., on July 13, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, and Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said. Padgett was charged with murder, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
