Missing Woman Found Dead On Roof Of Building: Nutley PD
A 74-year-old woman reported missing was found dead on the roof of a building, authorities in Nutley said. Police were called to Williams Street to help look for the victim, whose daughter reported her missing on Jan. 16, Police Director Alphonse Petracco and Chief Thomas Strumolo said. Police searched the apartment and building and found the woman unresponsive on the roof, they said. She was pronounced dead at the scene, and detectives were called in to investigate. UPDATE: The death of a 73-year-old man found at a Morris County Park Tuesday afternoon is not considered suspicious, authorities said. ---------------------------- Emergency crews were investigating after a body was found at a Morris County park Tuesday afternoon, developing reports say. The body was found near the visitor center at Jockey Hollow Park shortly before 1 p.m., according to initial and unconfirmed reports. The county’s crime scene investigation unit was requested alongside the major crimes unit and the medical examiner, the initial report said.

Witness: Man Who Plunged To Death At Paterson's Great Falls Slipped On Rocks
A man who plunged to his death from atop the Great Falls in Paterson on Thursday apparently slipped and fell, a witness told police. Firefighters recovered the body of the victim who was believed to be 40 to 50 years old, after the witness said he saw him “climbing the rocks, falling forward and then falling backward,” a responder at the scene told Daily Voice. The victim had no pulse when he was pulled from the water onto land after falling around 4 p.m. Rescuers conducted CPR in an attempt to revive him to no avail.
