Man Caused Thousands In Damage To Parked Cars In Bayonne, Police Say A 26-year-old Bayonne man was arrested Sunday for allegedly breaking off the side view mirrors of vehicles parked around 21st Street and Avenue A. John Squillante Jr. was carrying an open bottle of bourbon when police arrived shortly before midnight on a report of a gang of males damaging cars, police said. The person who called was able to identify Squillante as the person breaking off the mirrors, police also said.  Police retraced Squillante’s steps and found eight vehicles with damaged mirrors.
