North Jersey Shopping Center Sells For $47M A North Jersey strip mall home to a Stop & Shop has sold for $47 million, Jersey Digs reports. The owner of the Essex Mall on Bloomfield Avenue in West Caldwell was represented by CBRE Group, Inc., who also procured the buyer, Milbrook Properties, the outlet said. Lidl Supermarket Chain Eyeing Bayonne Location: Report German grocery chain Lidl, which is in the midst of an expansion in the Garden State, is looking to open a location in Bayonne, Jersey Digs magazine recently reported.  In a statement to Jersey Digs, Lidl declined to release much specific information, but confirmed it was looking at a location in the city.  The website for JMF Properties lists a Lidl supermarket as one of the tenants planned for the Harbor View Marketplace development on Route 440, Jersey Digs also reported.
