A dedicated and passionate North Jersey EMT is desperately seeking a kidney donor as he begins dialysis treatments after years of battling chronic disease. Reid Cappel, an Atlantic Health EMT from Harding Township, has been living with one kidney for years after his diagnosis with the chronic disease at age 21, he said. Standout Kenilworth Volunteer Firefighter Shawn Kelly Dies Suddenly
The Kenilworth Fire Department is mourning the loss of one of its own. Shawn Kelly joined the department in 2005 after graduating from Union County Fire Academy. There, he earned his Firefighter 1 and 2 certifications. He also obtained his New Jersey state EMT certification that same year. Bergenfield is mourning the loss of DPW worker and former EMT Carter F. Murdock, who died on Aug. 23. He was 21 years old. Scroll down for service details. Carter had been working for the Bergenfield DPW and was a valued member of the Bergenfield Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
