Ex-NJ Boy Scouts Worker, 70, Admits Trafficking Child Porn, Recording Kids In Bathroom: Feds 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: A 70-year-old former New Jersey Boy Scout camp employee admitted secretly recording videos of children using bathrooms there, federal authorities said.  William Mickel was employed by the Boy Scouts of America in Morris County when he trafficked videos and still images of child sex abuse via email, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger said. Ex-NJ Boy Scout Camp Employee Headed To State Prison For Sexually Abusing Teen Camper A North Jersey man already facing time in federal prison was sentenced to more time in State Prison for sexually abusing a teen Boy Scouts of America counselor in training nearly a decade ago. Colin Skeele, 37, of Florham Park, was sentenced to 18 months in New Jersey State Prison for the abuse, which occurred at the Boy Scouts Camp NoBeBoSco in Hardwick Township, when he was 26 years old, Warren County Prosecutor James Pfeiffer said. The average payment to each of the survivors comes to roughly $290,000, plus whatever is later obtained from the southern New Jersey's diocese’s insurance companies, under the proposed bankruptcy settlement. College Student From Bergen County Dies Of Stroke A sophomore college student from River Edge died after suffering a stroke. Nick Myers, set to graduate Loyola Maryland in 2023, was hospitalized with a brain abscess after suffering the stroke.  He died on March 16, according to a news release from the university. Nick served as captain of the River Dell High School swim team and enjoyed playing lacrosse. He had been involved in Boy Scouts of America and worked as a lifeguard at the River Edge Swim Club.
