Joseph Mingoia, who lives in Bayonne, has been on administrative leave since the Jan. 22 incident, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said on Monday, March 4. A fundraiser has been created to assist Otis-Harris after he received a kidney transplant in November, while he continues to battle focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, a chronic condition that causes scarring in the kidney.  Christmas came early for me this year. Threat Briefly Locks Down Bayonne High School A Hudson County high school had resumed normal operations as of 11:30 a.m., after a threat placed it briefly in lockdown. Bayonne High School received a "non-credible safety threat" on Monday, April 3, and went into lockdown "out of an abundance of caution," the Bayonne School District wrote on its Facebook page.  Bayonne Police Department was assisting Bayonne Security with the investigation, the district said.

Teen Accused Of Making Threat Against Bayonne High School A Jersey City resident was arrested in connection with an online threat made against Bayonne High School Tuesday, police said.  Deandre Jefferson, 18, was arrested at his McAdoo Avenue home around 11:20 p.m., as law enforcement was still investigating a shootout in Jersey City Tuesday afternoon that left six people dead, including two suspects and a police officer, Detective Joseph Seals.
