Glenn Stuart, Lead Singer Of Springsteen Tribute Band, Dies
Glenn Stuart, the lead singer of the BStreetBand, a Bruce Springsteen tribute act, and Fanwood resident, died on Wednesday, Feb. 28, the band announced on its website.
"Glenn fought an incredibly brave battle with cancer and our hearts are so heavy during this difficult time," the band wrote.
"Our deepest sympathies are with his family as well as the countless hearts that Glenn has touched through his life and music."

Suspected Toms River Hookah Lounge Killer Will Stay In Jail For Trial: Prosecutors
The man accused of murder in a triple shooting at a Toms River hookah lounge will have to stay in jail through his trial.
A judge ordered on Thursday, Feb. 22 that Eric Manzanares, 24, of Asbury Park, will remain detained in the Ocean County Jail pending his trial, county prosecutor Bradley Billhimer announced. He was charged with murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon.

'She's My Ride' Owner Michele Posthumus, Wayne Valley HS Grad, Dies
Michele Posthumus, a Wayne native who lived in Asbury Park, died on Tuesday, Dec. 26 at the age of 57, according to her obituary.
Born on Feb. 17, 1966, she graduated from Wayne Valley High School and ran two businesses, "Absentee Property Management" and "She's My Ride, her obituary reads.
She enjoyed skiing, golf, swimming and spending time with her dog, Arthur, according to her obituary.

Asbury Park's Casino Building Closed Indefinitely
The historic Asbury Park Casino building, located at the southern end of the boardwalk, is closed indefinitely, authorities said.
The building was closed on Monday, May 8, following an inspection.
The announcement drew an outpouring of despair and criticism on social media.
