A resident has been arrested in connection with a hit and run in Jersey City Oct. 31, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said.

The 36-year-old  victim was crossing Christopher Columbus Drive at Grove street shortly after 11 p.m. when authorities said he was struck by a minivan. The incident was caught on surveillance video, authorities said.

The victim suffered multiple injuries and was listed in critical but stable condition.

On Wednesday, authorities arrested Luis Rodriguez-Santana, 31, as he was making his way to work on Greene Street.

He has been charged with knowingly leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash that caused bodily injury and a related violation.

Rodriguez-Santana was issued a summons and released. He is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 3.
