First Snowfall Expected Across Region Wednesday The first snowfall of the season was expected to make its way to the region Wednesday morning. Only one to three inches were expected across New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania with temps in the low 30s overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, meteorologists say. Accumulation was not likely but roads may be slippery in some spots,  AccuWeather Senior Storm Warning Meteorologist Brian Wimer said. Severe Thunderstorm Watch In Effect For Much Of Region A cold front moving across the region is being accompanied by a rapidly moving line of showers and isolated thunderstorms, some of which are expected to be severe, with damaging winds that could cause power outages. The time frame for storm activity from the system moving from west to east is from around 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13, according to the National Weather Service.
