NJ's Aaron Rodgers, Possible VP Pick, Denies Spouting Sandy Hook Conspiracy Theories
Aaron Rodgers, who lives in Essex County, is denying a CNN report that he believed the children killed in the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre were actors. In a statement on X, Rodgers said the CNN story was not true. "I am not and have never been of the opinion that the events did not take place," Rodgers said. Hall of Famer Baffert also trained racehorse Solomini, of Hackensack's Zayat Stables, LLC -- owned by a Teaneck family -- who finished 10th this year at Churchill Downs. Three-year-old Justify's win made him the first horse without a race as a 2-year-old to win the an…

American Pharoah's Hackensack Manager Sends New Horse To Kentucky Derby
You may remember Teaneck native Justin Zayat as the boy vomiting after his horse American Pharoah won the 2015 Kentucky Derby. The 26-year-old says it wasn't the alcohol that had him sick, rather the nerves and emotion he had been holding in all day, the New York Post reports. But Zayat -- who has lovingly earned the nickname "Horse Boy" -- is back for this year's Kentucky Derby with a new colt, Solomini, ranked in the top 10 after finishing third at the Arkansas Derby. Zayat is hoping Solomini will follow in the footsteps of American Pharoah, who made history as the first horse …
