Two firefighters were injured battling a house fire in West Milford on Saturday, Aug. 16, officials said.
West Milford fire crews responded to a reported structure fire on Otterhole Road just before 10 a.m., where responders were met by heavy fire and smoke on the front of the home, the fire department said.

Jennifer Troch, 41, and Michael Shores Jr., 54, both of the first block of North Main Street, were pronounced dead at WellSpan York Hospital on Sunday, Aug. 3—Shores Jr. at 7:12 a.m., Troch at 7:30 a.m., Coroner Pam Gay said in separate releases. A father and his two young sons were killed in a devastating house fire Saturday night, May 31, in a Hudson Valley, NY town, authorities said.
Shane Munn, 40, and his two sons, ages 12 and 17, all died in the blaze at 876 Pulaski Highway in Goshen at approximately 8:10 p.m., according to New York State Police.
