A driver escaped injury in a rollover crash Wednesday afternoon in Ridgewood. Her 4-door Ford Fusion clipped a tree before overturning halfway down the 100 block of North Pleasant Avenue. Multi-Vehicle Collision At Troublesome Midland Park Intersection Sends Two To Hospital
Three vehicles collided Wednesday morning at a troublesome intersection in Midland Park, sending two occupants to the hospital, after one ran a stop sign, authorities said. Midland Park police, firefighters and EMS responded to the crash at Franklin and Erie avenues near the Ridgewood border. None of the injuries were considered life-threatening, Police Chief Michael Powderley said. Two summonses were issued, he said. Tow trucks removed two vehicles. Elmwood Park Woman Charged, Boyfriend Hospitalized With Knife Wound In Saddle Brook Incident
UPDATE: An Elmwood Park woman was jailed Friday after injuring her boyfriend with a pocket knife during an incident at friend's house in Saddle Brook, police said. Leonor O'Hara, 23, was charged with aggravated assault, making terroristic threats and weapons possession following the 7 a.m. incident at a home on Saddle River Road near Saddle River County Park, Police Chief Robert Kugler said. A minor injury was reported after a sedan and an SUV collided Wednesday night near Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey. The crash occurred on the Franklin Turnpike bridge over Route 17 around 7:30 p.m., Police Chief Bryan Gurney said. Toddler Run Over By Dad In Morris County Driveway In Serious Condition
An 18-month-old girl was rushed to the hospital in serious condition after being accidentally struck by her father in her Chatham Township driveway Monday, authorities said. The toddler's father told police that he was warming up his car and moving it to the side of their Southern Boulevard driveway around 7 a.m. when he realized he struck his daughter, Chief Thomas Miller said. Chatham EMS and police administered first aid to the girl, Miller said. She was taken to Morristown Medical Center, where Lt. Chris Slayton said she was listed in serious condition. Second Fort Lee Senior Towers Tenant In Four Days Jumps To Death
A 63-year-old woman became the second tenant at a Fort Lee senior high rise in four days to jump to her death -- this time from the 10th floor, police confirmed. Police began CPR after responding to the 1:45 p.m. call Wednesday at the Malcolm Towers on Main Street before turning the victim over to EMS, Capt. Matthew Hintze said. On Sunday, an 81-year-old woman jumped to her death from the 14th floor of the same building. Both deaths were deemed suicides pending further investigation.

Three Hospitalized On Their Own, One Transported After Stabbing/Slashing Outside Paterson Bar
Three men and two women fled the scene of a stabbing/slashing overnight Saturday outside a Paterson nightspot, witnesses told police. None of the injuries was considered life-threatening, although one victim was stabbed in the kidney area during the attack just after 3 a.m. on the corner of McBride and Glover avenues near the Woodland Park border, responders said. By sheer luck, members of a private ambulance crew were passing by at the time and rendered aid before police and city EMS arrived. Crash Sends Elderly Driver's Car Into Fair Lawn House
An elderly driver was treated for facial injuries after a crash pushed his sedan into a Fair Lawn home Friday morning. A 49-year-old Fair Lawn man was attempting to turn left from Park Avenue onto River Road when his 2006 Honda struck a 2017 Lincoln SUV driven by a 71-year-old Elmwood Park man around 9:50 a.m., Sgt. Brian Metzler said. The impact of the crash forced the SUV across the roadway and into the side of a brick Park Avenue house, he said. UPDATE: A fire that killed a 77-year-old Montvale widow in her home last weekend was ignited by a discarded cigarette, authorities said Friday. The blaze that tore through the North Avenue home of Ninette Grannis broke out just before 1 p.m. Sunday. "When the Montvale Police and Fire Departments arrived on the scene, the single-family residence was consumed by heavy fire," Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo said Friday.
