Rochelle Park Firefighters Take Next Step Towards Battling Blazes ROCHELLE PARK, N.J. — Four Rochelle Park Volunteer Fire Department members recently graduated from the Firefighter 1 certification course in Bergen County, bringing them one step closer to battling blazes. Hackensack Firefighters Douse White Manna Car Blaze HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Hackensack firefighters quickly doused a Thursday morning car engine fire outside the White Manna on River Street. The driver told responders that "smoke started coming out of the vents" from the engine compartment, Hackensack Fire Lt. Justin Derevyanik said.The driver got out OK, he said.
