Wood-Ridge Radio Station Plays Oldies, But Goodies
WOOD-RIDGE, N.J. -- From a studio in his home, a Wood-Ridge webmaster plays oldies, country, 70s-90s pop, and Christian music every Sunday helped by a buddy and an engineer, and looking for some underwriters. The station is WSBP-LP, at 94.3 on the FM dial.
Rich Domanski “does it for the love of radio,” and wants to offer an experience like the radio of pre-1950.
Domanski created the station himself, and he says Superstorm Sandy is what made him do it.

New Jersey Names Hackensack 'Transit Village'
HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Hackensack has been designated a Transit Village by the state of New Jersey.
Notification of the designation, which means Hackensack will receive a priority for state funding of planning and transportation initiatives, also means there is a relationship and partnership with the state to achieve the city’s overall redevelopment goals of a transit village, mixed use, pedestrian friendly downtown, City Planner Fran Reiner said.
