“It’s supposed to be a hair and nail salon,” South Hackensack Police Capt. Robert Kaiser told CLIFFVIEW PILOT this afternoon. “An undercover officer went in and was solicited for sex.”

A raid of The Greenish Spa quickly followed.

Ying Z. Piao, 43, who worked there, was charged with engaging in prostitution and released on a summons, Kaiser said.

Authorities also seized $3,720 that the captain said “was connected to the illegal activities being conducted on the premises.”

South Hackensack officials issued several ordinance violations, closing the business down, he added.

The Greenish Spa advertised its services — with photos of Asian woman in little clothing — on sites such as backpage.com, adultsearch.com and rubmaps.com, offering “a reprieve from your busy day,” with “clean, individual rooms” at $60 an hour.
