Some residents reported finding stolen property on their lawns that had been left there overnight, one village resident told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Officers from several departments, as well as a K-9 unit from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office, participated in last night’s search, foot chase and arrest of two village juveniles directly connected to consecutive vehicle break-ins on Arcadia Road.

A witness reported watching both get into his car and a neighbor’s, police said.

Both boys were released to their parents pending hearings in the Family Part of Superior Court in Hackensack.
