Called to the Ulta Beauty Store, Sgt. Darryl Wuhrl and Officer Gregory Mulawka found repeat offender 28-year-old Daniel Jimenez of Paterson "hiding behind a dumpster attempting to discard his clothing" at the Spring Valley Avenue store, Detective Jason Liaban said.
They took Jimenez into custody after discovering an active warrant for his arrest from the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department, then charged him with two counts of shoplifting and possession of an anti-theft device, the detective said.
Passaic County sheriff's officers picked up Jiminez on the warrant, Liaban said.
