The victim was struck as she crossed the Boulevard at Lawrence Avenue around 8:10 p.m. by a 2003 GMC Envoy headed north, Traffic Bureau Sgt. Scott Adamo told CLIFFVIEW PILOT this morning.
The dog was killed at the scene, and the woman died later at Hackensack University Medical Center, he said.
An investigation was continuing, said Adamo, adding that alcohol and drugs weren’t involved.
