Jorge Carabajo was being held on $50,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with child endangerment by posssessing and distributing child pornography. He’s scheduled for arraignment tomorrow afternoon.
“The arrest stemmed from an Internet investigation in which [Carabajo] was using the Internet to acquire and transmit images and/or video files depicting child pornography,” Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said tonight.
“In this case, the child pornography contained images and/or videos of pre-pubescent children engaged in sexual acts,” he said.
During a court-authorized search, investigators found additional images, the prosecutor said.
Molinelli thanked local police chiefs who contributed officers to his Computer Crimes Task Force –- among them the heads of the Glen Rock, Hillsdale, Lyndhurst, Maywood and Hackensack police departments.
