Driver breaks arm, other extricated in three-car Hackensack crash

YOU SAW IT HERE FIRST: Hackensack firefighters extricated a man from his SUV and both he and a woman who suffered a broken arm was hospitalized after a three-vehicle collision this morning.

City firefighters extricated the Toyota Rav4 driver less than 15 minutes after the 9:10 a.m. crash at Hackensack Avenue and University Plaza Drive, Hackensack Fire Lt. Justin Derevyanik told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Both he and the woman, driving a BMW, were taken to Hackensack University Medical Center.
