Cliffside Park boy, 2, hospitalized after hit by father’s SUV

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A 2-year-old Cliffside Park boy was hospitalized with rib injuries after his father accidentally hit him with his SUV this morning.

The boy was first taken to Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck after he was hit by the front driver’s side tire of the 2004 Chevy Suburban at 8:40 a.m. in the 300 block of Columbia Avenue, Police Chief Richard Gaito told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

He was later transferred to Hackensack University Medical Center.

No summonses were immediately issued against the 30-year-old father. An investigation was continuing, he said.
