Police arrested Allan Verdeflor, 32 (above, left), along with another Filipino-born Bergenfield man, 38-year-old Ramil Culala (above, right), who was wanted on a no-bail warrant.

Culala had been free on $10,000 bail but failed to appear to face meth possession charges from May 2013 out of South Hackensack. He also has warrants out of Closter and Rochelle Park, as well as Bergenfield, for $533 worth of unpaid motor vehicle summonses, records show.

Officers David Tortora and Peter Morano went to Willow Street at 3:15 a.m. yesterday after receiving the anonymous tip on the Crime Stoppers telephone line, Capt. Cathy Madalone said this morning.

They “observed garage lights on and heard noise from a television playing inside,” Madalone said.

The officers knocked on a side door and were met by Verdeflor, who was under the influence of drugs, she said. Inside they spotted several other men, including Culala, as well as a large glass bong, the captain said.

“Other occupants in the garage were checked by officers and released without further incident,” she said.

Verdeflor, meanwhile, was charged with being under the influence of drugs and possessing less than an ounce of methamphetamine, as well as drug paraphernalia. He was being held on $5,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail.

Culala was being held in the jail without bail after being turned over to the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office.
