The freeholders confirmed a series of 14 appointments populating the county’s first committee, which was initially created in the fall of 2015.

“I am excited we are getting this committee off the ground,” said Freeholder Vice Chairwoman Tracy Silna Zur. “This advisory committee will bring important perspectives to county government and give our county’s LGBTQ residents a greater voice.

“The individuals we are appointing represent a broad cross-section of public and private sector experience, from adoption attorneys to medical doctors to LGBTQ advocates,” said Zur. “I am thrilled to have them lend their voices to this important and historic committee. I would like to thank them all for volunteering their time.”
