HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Giants’ Super Bowl MVP quarterback Eli Manning and kicker Josh Brown, as well as former Giants’ center Shaun O’Hara, made surprise visits to the Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center on Tuesday, bringing gifts to the young patients and visiting with their families.

Manning also made a personal contribution that helped the Tackle Kids Cancer (TKC) program raise more than $1 million toward finding a cure for pediatric cancer.

“The amazing success of the Tackle Kids Cancer campaign in such a short period of time demonstrates the endless possibilities when we combine our collective strengths," said Robert C. Garrett, president and chief executive officer of the Hackensack University Health Network.

"As we work together through TKC, we are opening the door together for new treatment and better care for our pediatric cancer patients," Garrett said. "We are grateful to Eli Manning and the Giants for the selfless giving of their time.”

TKC has raised funds through fun and interactive ways, which includes special events with the Giants. Following its launch event at Modell’s Sporting Goods in Times Square, Manning and other Giants team members participated in a Monday night party event at Ainsworth Park in Manhattan. The sold-out event raised funds to support TKC.

Every dollar received through the TKC campaign supports the Children’s Cancer Institute at the Sanzari Children's Hospital.
