Cumberland County Man, 29, Sentenced In Shooting Death: Prosecutor
A 29-year-old Cumberland County man has been sentenced to 40 years in New Jersey State Prison for a fatal shooting, authorities said.
Frank J. Baker, of Seabrook, was sentenced in connection with the murder of Jair Rennie, 22, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae.
Baker apparently was jealous of his ex girlfriend’s new boyfriend, so shot him four times, prosecutors have said.
The fatal shooting occurred in Gouldtown, Fairfield Township on July 20, 2019.

South Jersey Man Admits Stalking, Secretly Taping Murder Victim, Conspiring To Kill Others
A South Jersey man charged with a murder and conspiracy to commit murder pleaded guilty on Wednesday, Nov. 2, authorities said.
Kenneth Saal, 33, formerly of Lindenwold, also admitted burglary and stalking in connection with the murder of Carolyn Byington, 26, of Plainsboro, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone.
During the plea, Saal stated that in April 2019 he copied the victim’s house key while she was at work and used the key to enter her apartment on multiple days in the following months, Ciccone said.

Cumberland County Man Found Guilty Of Manslaughter: Prosecutor
A 33-year-old man from Cumberland County has been found guilty of manslaughter, authorities said.
Raheem Jacobs, of Bridgeton, was found guilty of the Aug. 11, 2015, homicide of Keon Butler, also of Bridgeton, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office.
A Cumberland County jury returned the verdict Thursday, May 26, finding Jacobs guilty of second-degree reckless manslaughter following a two-and-a-half week trial.
The homicide occurred while Butler was driving a minivan near the intersection of North Laurel and Myrtle Streets in Bridgeton, the prosecutor said.

Delaware Man, 20, Gets 38 Years State Prison For Camden Blueberry Farm Robbery, Fatal Shooting
A 20-year-old man from Delaware was sentenced to 38 years in New Jersey State Prison for his role in a fatal pre-dawn robbery at a South Jersey blueberry farm, authorities said.
Kwamere Benjamin of New Castle, Delaware, was sentenced on Friday to 38 years in state prison by Judge Frederick J. Schuck, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Winslow Township Police Chief George Smith.
