Fair Lawn Native, 32, Killed In Route 208 Thanksgiving Day Crash A 32-year-old driver from Fair Lawn was killed when his car struck a utility pole on Route 208 early Thanksgiving evening. William Hennecke was driving his 2002 Porsche Boxter convertible when it veered off the southbound highway and into a utility pole just past Maple Avenue shortly after 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 23, Fair Lawn police said. Hennecke was pronounced dead at the scene, they said. An investigation was continuing.
