Three New Jersey school districts have been ranked among the 50 best in America. Millburn came in at No. 29, Northern Valley Regional is ranked No. 33 and Princeton came in at No. 43 on Niche.com's latest rankings. Bad-Driving Bandit Arrested By Paramus Police After Smashing Up Stolen Jeep
The driver of a stolen Jeep hit a median, a curb, some bushes and a tree before Paramus police took him into custody, authorities said. And they weren't even chasing him when he crashed. Officer Nicholas Tanelli tried to stop the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee as it sped down southbound Route 17 shortly after 1:30 a.m. Thursday, April 7, Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg said. New Jerseyans on Friday woke up to several inches of snow on the ground in the first major storm for some and second for others this week. Man Struck By Car Outside NJ Supermarket Settles For $1.28 Million
UPDATE: A Hackensack man who suffered a traumatic brain injury when he was hit by a car in a supermarket parking lot in Saddle Brook reportedly received a $1.275 million settlement from a lawsuit. Richard Kunzweiler was 75 when he was struck by a car driven by a 66-year-old Fair Lawn man outside the Acme in Saddle Brook on Aug. 16, 2018, records show. Besides the traumatic brain injury, Kunzweiler suffered a C7 vertebral fracture, a ligament tear, a spinal cord injury and bulging discs and several broken bones, a suit filed in Superior Court in Hackensack claims. Federal authorities announced charges Monday against an accused Libyan terrorist on the 32nd anniversary of the Flight 103 bombing over Scotland that killed 270 people.
