Atlantic City police arrested a man amid a mental health crisis who pointed a handgun at a woman.
Troy Williams, 45, of Atlantic City. was charged with weapons offenses, aggravated assault, terroristic threats and possession of drugs, police said.
On Wednesday, July 5, at 1:52 p.m., patrol officers responded to the 300 block of Rosemont Place in reference to a woman being held against her will, and the suspect was armed with a handgun.
Additionally, information was provided that the suspect was having a mental health episode, police said.

Atlantic City police arrested two teenagers with a handgun and crack cocaine, authorities said.
On Thursday, Dec. 22 at 8:34 p.m., Sergeant Timothy Smith conducted a community contact at a business in the 1500 block of Atlantic Avenue in response to numerous complaints from business owners concerning illegal narcotics activity.

Arrest Made In South Jersey Middle School Shooting: Police
An arrest has been made in a shooting that took place outside a middle school in Camden County, authorities said.
Taijun Blount, 18, of Lindenwold, was charged with aggravated assault with a handgun, endangering the welfare of a minor and a weapons offense, Gloucester City police said.
Blount was being held at Camden Correctional Facility.
On Sunday, April 24, at 7:59 p.m., police responded to a report of shots fired at Gloucester City Middle School. Upon arrival, police found no gunshot victims, they said.

Atlantic City Trio Arrested With Cocaine, Loaded Handgun
Three men were arrested with a large quantity of cocaine and a loaded handgun after a dispute between roommates, authorities said.
At 9:11 a.m. on Saturday, Atlantic City Police Officers Christian Ivanov and Scott Sendrick responded to the 600 block of Drexel Avenue in reference to a fight between two men that led to one pointing a handgun at the other.
The officers spoke with Dennis Adkins, 59, of Atlantic City, who reported that Joe Desrosiers, 35, of Atlantic City, pointed a handgun at his head during an argument, police said.
