South Jersey Man Indicted For Deadly Shooting While Waiting For Prison Sentence: Prosecutors
A Galloway Township man was indicted after he was accused of killing another man while awaiting sentencing, authorities said. A grand jury indicted 35-year-old Kalief Lyons on Tuesday, June 25 for murder and several weapons charges, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. A Camden County man was accused of passing out in the driver's seat with a gun and several other weapons in his vehicle in Wildwood Crest, authorities said. Samuel Beatty, 24, of Haddon Township, was arrested on Sunday, June 16, the Wildwood Crest Police Department said in a news release on Tuesday, June 18.
