More than 50 people were arrested after police broke up a large cockfighting ring in Atlantic County, authorities said. A 27-year-old man from Evesham has been sentenced to 34 years in New Jersey State Prison without parole for fatally stabbing a friend, as well as his dog, while robbing him, authorities said.
