Port Authority police talk suicidal man down from Fort Lee Palisades

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Port Authority police this morning talked a suicidal homeless man down from a rock wall that overlooks the George Washington Bridge on the New Jersey side.

The Fort Lee Volunteer Ambulance Corps took the 40-year-old man to Bergen Regional Medical Center after the 6:30 a.m. incident in the area that extends down from Fort Lee Historic Park above the Hudson River, the authority’s Joseph Pentangelo said.
