Port Authority tunnel and bridge agents extinguished the 5:30 p.m. fire -- which caused major bridge delays -- under the Henry Hudson Parkway ramp , the authority's Joseph Pentangelo said.
No structural damage was done and all lanes were active and open by 7:30 p.m., he said.
Ryan Desso, 30, was charged with arson, criminal mischief and trespassing.
