Prince William County Police Nab 19-Year-Old Armed Robber 8 Months Later Prince William County police have arrested a 19-year-old in connection with a 2021 armed robbery, officials said. Grab Free Coffee From Any Virginia Wawa As They Celebrate 100th Virginia Store Grand Opening Wawa is celebrating the opening of their 100th store in Virginia by offering free coffee at all stores in the state, the company announced. The 100th store, located at 9700 Fairfax Boulevard will open its doors on September 1 with a ribbon cutting at 9 a.m., Wawa said. Singer Lorde Claims She Swam In 'Unsafe' Potomac River While In DC Lorde, the popular singer from New Zealand, told fans she spent time swimming in the Potomac River, which has been deemed unsafe for swimmers, while in D.C. for a concert, Fox 5 reported. Though there is no proof of the pop star actually swimming, fans laughed and clapped as she described swimming in the nearby waters, the website said. The Potomac River is currently deemed unsafe for human swimmers, as the water has harmful bacterial levels, Fox 5 said. Fredericksburg Police ID Armed Man Who Wasn't At Subway To 'Eat Fresh' Fredericksburg police have revealed the identity of the armed Subway robber, officials said.On August 30, at around 6:30 p.m., 22-year-old Tucker Smith of Tennessee entered the Subway on Carl D. Silver Parkway and demanded cash from the register, according to the Fredericksburg Police Department.
