Paul Milo has worked as a reporter in northern New Jersey for more than 20 years, first for North Jersey Media Group / NorthJersey.com, then at Patch.com and at NJ.com / The Star-Ledger. He has written about a 106-year-old World War I veteran, the Sept. 11 attacks and a 15-year-old stock manipulator who was the youngest person ever civilly charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission, among many other stories. He has interviewed governors, presidential candidates and celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and comedian Kevin Hart.

In addition to his work for New Jersey-based outlets, he has also written for BeliefNet, Editor and Publisher, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications, as well as freelance assignments for global chemical company BASF.

His first book, Your Flying Car Awaits, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. As part of the book’s promotional efforts he was interviewed by The New York Times and on WNYC radio’s The Brian Lehrer Show

3 Hurt When Fire Truck, Tractor Trailer Collide In Linden A firefighter had to be freed from a fire truck after it was involved in a collision in Linden Tuesday morning, police said.  The engine was exiting the New Jersey Turnpike at the Wood Avenue emergency road when it was hit by a tractor trailer traveling south on the Turnpike, police said.  Two other firefighters were also. All the three were taken to University Hospital with injuries that were described as non-life-threatening, police said.  The driver of the tractor trailer was unhurt.  The investigation is being handled by the New Jersey State Police.

Emergency Drill Planned At Train Station In Glen Rock Saturday NJ Transit will conduct an emergency drill Saturday at the Main Line train station in Glen Rock, police said.  Several train cars will be used in the drill. NJ Transit personnel as well as police, fire and ambulance squads from Glen Rock and surrounding towns will take part. The parking lot at the station will be closed from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Irvington Man Shot And Killed In Newark Early Sunday A 43-year-old Irvington man was fatally shot in Newark early Sunday morning, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said.  Newark police were called to the 100 block of Hartford Street around 2:40 a.m. There they found Clifford Cajou, who had suffered a gunshot wound.
