Paul Milo has worked as a reporter in northern New Jersey for more than 20 years, first for North Jersey Media Group / NorthJersey.com, then at Patch.com and at NJ.com / The Star-Ledger. He has written about a 106-year-old World War I veteran, the Sept. 11 attacks and a 15-year-old stock manipulator who was the youngest person ever civilly charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission, among many other stories. He has interviewed governors, presidential candidates and celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and comedian Kevin Hart.

In addition to his work for New Jersey-based outlets, he has also written for BeliefNet, Editor and Publisher, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications, as well as freelance assignments for global chemical company BASF.

His first book, Your Flying Car Awaits, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. As part of the book’s promotional efforts he was interviewed by The New York Times and on WNYC radio’s The Brian Lehrer Show

Idling Maserati Stolen In Livingston, Found In Belleville A high-end vehicle that sells in the six-figure range was taken from the parking valet stand at a Livingston restaurant Thursday night, police said.  The grey Maserati was running but unoccupied around 9:30 p.m. at Nero's Grille, 618 South Livingston Ave., when someone described only as a black male jumped in and took off, police said.  The vehicle was found hours later parked on Watchung Avenue in Belleville. Firefighters Battling West Orange Blaze Firefighters including mutual aid from Orange were at the scene of a blaze in the 420 block of Valley Road around midday Friday, according to witness reports.  The fire is burning in the basement of FDR Auto Body, 429 Valley Road, a township spokesman said. There were no immediate reports of injuries.  One witness said firefighters were broadcasting instructions to flood the basement of the burning building around noon. The fire broke out around 11:30 a.m.  It was brought under control within about an hour.
