Wyckoff PD: Hackensack Police Nab DWI Driver Who Fled Wrong-Way Crash On Route 208 Overpass UPDATE: An unlicensed DWI driver from Paterson who fled a wrong-way crash that sent a Jeep rolling on a Route 208 overpass in Wyckoff was captured soon after in Hackensack, authorities said. Sabrina Y. Zegarra, 21, was driving an unregistered Mitsubishi Montero that crossed the double-yellow line on Russell Avenue and struck the Jeep around 5 p.m. Aug. 21, Lt. Joseph Soto said. Watch This: Lightning Strike Knocks Out Traffic Lights In Bergen Town A Wyckoff police dashcam captured video of a lightning strike Friday afternoon that zapped a power line, knocking out power to several customers -- as well as area traffic signals. The bolt hit the line at 12:15 p.m. near the intersection of Wyckoff and Russell avenues, leaving it burning in the roadway, Lt. Joseph Soto said. Wyckoff Avenue was closed in both directions between Franklin and Russell avenues until about 5 p.m.  Orange & Rockland restored most power except for an isolated area around the downed line.  No injuries were reported.
