Search For Missing Person Ends Tragically Near NJ Mountain
The search for a missing person ended tragically when their body was found near a New Jersey mountain, authorities said. The person, whose name is being withheld, was last seen on Friday, Aug. 18, according to Hopewell Township and Pennington Borough police. A search for a suspicious man who was allegedly spotted by a worker at an assisted living center on Route 10 initiated a full-scale police investigation, authorities said. Police in Hanover responded to Weston Assisted Living at 905 Rt. 10 in Whippany just after 7:25 p.m. after receiving a call from a worker about a suspicious man that had entered the building, the department said in a press release. Man Found Seven Miles From Home After Six-Day Search In Central Jersey
A 29-year-old man was found unharmed six days after walking away from his Central Jersey home. Jonathan Misak walked nearly seven miles — or more to Old Bridge — where he was found safe on Saturday, Oct. 1, authorities in Middlesex County announced. A 22-year-old man who went missing Thursday, June 16 was found dead on Friday, authorities in Mercer County said. There are no signs of foul play and no danger to the community, though the investigation remains ongoing, West Windsor police said. His identity was not released and he was described as Asian. Hour Of Crime: Guns Seized, Stolen Cars Recovered In Linden Spree, Police Say
Linden police endured an hour of mayhem in late November resulting in the arrests of several teens for separate incidents of stolen vehicles and armed robberies, they said. The crime spree started a little after 8 p.m. on Nov. 29, when officers found an occupied stolen car parked on E. Elizabeth Ave near Zeigler Avenue, Police Chief David Hart said.
